A Welcome Home
A public welcome home for returning soldiers including Matthew Hannan was held at the Congupna Hall in July 1918.

With opening pieces by his future nieces Rita and May Williams, and the event organised by future brother-in-law Bert Larsen, it would seem likely Meta was also in the audience.8,9
