| Early Life |
| It is believed that a number of Margaret and Peter's children were looked after by Margaret's sister Johanna.2 |
| Marriage Greta Mary Reid and William Harry Thomas were probably married around 1936. It is not known if they had any children.3,4,5 |
| Greta and Bill lived at 32 Urquhart St, Wiluna, about 700 km north-east of Perth between 1937 and 1943, where Bill was a miner. They then moved to 42 Thompson St.6 |
| They lived at Greta's sister Johanna's boarding house at 1168 Hay St, Perth until early 1949 where Bill was working as a truck driver. By June that year they were at the Kentucky Stud in Serpentine, about 45 km south of Perth. Bill was a studmaster there until 1958.7,8,9 |

| Contact with Victorian Family |
| Eva, Greta and Maurice had contact with their Victorian family. Eva and Maurice stayed with their cousin Eileen Haddock's son Ken in Melbourne during a holiday in the early 1960s.2 |
| Greta and Bill lived at 74 London St, Mount Hawthorn (Perth suburb) in 1963. Bill was then a process worker.10 |
| Greta Mary Thomas died in Mount Hawthorn on 9 December 1966, aged 53. She is buried in the Anglican section of Karrakatta cemetery in Perth. Bill died two years later and is in the same grave.11,1,12,13 |
