Story

Korizo is the second eldest of nine children, though two died as infants. She is the eldest daughter.

As for her aunt, Korizo Agatha, there are many variations in the spelling of her first name.

In the Victorian birth index she is Korizo Elizabeth. In a Milovitch family bible passed from her aunt Mary Elizabeth to her mother, she is Korizo Elizabeth Agatha, the additional name most likely being a confirmation name.

In the marriage index she is Korizo, but in newspaper reports of the wedding she is Koriza.

The name Koriza is also used in her father's 1938 probate.

In the death index she is Koriezo Elizabeth.1,2,3,6,5,7

Son Tony has always used Koriezo. Later generations also use Korieza.8

WILKINSON-MILOVITCH
At St Mary’s RC Church, Mooroopna, on Monday, Miss Koriza Milovitch, second daughter of Mr and Mrs P Milovitch, of Ardmona, was married to Mr Horace C Wilkinson, only son of Mr and Mrs Wilkinson, of Sheffield, England, the Rev. Father Murphy being the officiating clergyman. The bride was married in her travelling dress, a bois de rose frock of French crepe de chene, black crinoline hat to match. She was attended by her sister, Miss Nellie Milovitch, whose frock was of vieux rose crepe de chene, and hat to match. Mr V Milovitch was best man. After the ceremony, the gathering adjourned to the home of the bride’s parents where the wedding breakfast was served, and about 40 guests assembled. The usual toasts were honored. The young couple left by the evening train for Healesville. Their future home will be in Shepparton.10

A family of six children followed, three boys and three girls.

Korizo Wilkinson died in Melbourne in 1951 aged 45.5
